Apr 23 2008, 6:23 PM EDT these are placed randomly around areas, usually 1 or 2 per area. The items you get are based on the level of the area. You can also get better items by doing the box quest that starts in port of coimbra. the allows you access yellow ferruccio boxes.

Sep 30 2008, 7:56 PM EDT They give items according to the map level. If you open a box at Reboldeaux's Stone Pits, you'll get a level 1 item However, if you open a box at King's Garden, you'll get a level 20 item.
