There's a change in the wiki community. You will no longer be able to post or start threads without being registered. The change wasn't necessary until now, since we've been attacked by a lot of spam lately. =P We do hope that this change wont take a negative road, if you want to post your opinion, just sign in to the wiki; it only takes what? 1 minute?

The change wont be permanent, we just need some time off from the spam attacks. (When we change it back to normal, we won't announce it; you'll just notice when you post anonymously again xD)

Today's the big Merge day! Vespanola and Cesario will merge to the new world Bristia, so don't freak if you don't see your server once you run the client =P Here's the thread by K2-Kanillius.

As has been discussed in the past, Cesario and Vespanola are to be merged. The server merge is taking place on April 9th, starting at 11:00 AM Pacific Standard time (7:00 PM GMT) and ending at 10:00 PM Pacific Standard time (6:00 AM GMT). IMC will be coming to the US to take care of the merge. All servers will be down during the maintenance period as well as our main website and account and billing on the G1 Portal.

During this time, characters from Cesario and Vespanola will be merged onto the new server, Bristia. If you have families on both servers, the higher level family will be transferred on to Bristia, the lower level family will be deleted. We are currently unsure if the mercenary system on Bristia will be functional.

Before the server merge takes place, there are safety measures you can take to ensure your items will be safe. If you wish to save the items you’ve earned on the lower level family, transfer your items to a temporary account. After the maintenance is complete, you will be able to trade these items back on to your account.

Today, after the maintenance, the game will download the Land of the Dead patch, this great update will bring sooo many new awesome things. We will have some new guides to teach you how to get some of these new stuff, like the lvl 92 elite items, Kurt and Eduardo.

Land of the Dead



The Land of the Dead is a treacherous new map smothered with living dead. This new area is available only to families in Baron Mode*, or to those that have Otite Perfume and who have paid the fee of 1 Myterious Powder to the Sad Old Man in Los Toldos. Once inside the Land of the Dead be cautious! Everyone is a considered an enemy on this field, so band together with squad members and watch each others backs!

*NOTE: While in the Land of the Dead attacking other players incurs no penalty. However, if you are Baron you are still subject to the Baron penalty.

New Cash Shop Items

Otite perfume (1 day)
Otite perfume allows players to access Los Toldos and the Land of the Dead without becoming a Baron.

Wheel of destiny (1 day)
This item allows anyone who is not a level 5 Baron, or has not built the Wheel of Destiny, to continue with the Land of the Dead Quest.

Andre's Dolce and Granado Beachwear line (30 days)


New intriguing swimsuits straight from Andre's dreams and fantuzziiess! Andre's Dolce and Granado Beachwear line gives a +10% Bonus to Movement Speed, defense, and style.

Eduardo


Eduardo is a character shrouded in mystery, for not even he can recall his own history. It has been claimed that he is the strongest of all the barons in the New World, and with his unique ability to summon the Grim Reaper, few dare to challenge the claim.

Kurt


Kurt is no stranger to the battlefield. At a young age, he was the commander of the Immortal Troops in the Three Year War. Kurt has had several run ins with his step father Lyndon, and as such became the head Baron. Having a strong attack power, and a unique summon ability, Kurt is a valiant foe to meet on the field.

Level 92 Elites!


That's right, lvl 92 elite items are now available! Though they are very powerful, these items are rare, and hard to come by.

Update Patch #3 Notes

New Additions:

• Land of the Dead can now be accessed through Los Toldos in Porto Bello, A Deserted Quay.
• Andre's Dolce and Granado Beachwear line is now available in the Cash Shop.
• The New Polisher System has been released.
• Otite Perfume which allows players to enter Los Toldos and speak with Baron NPCs without being Baron is now available in the Cash Shop.
• Wheel of Destiny (1 Day) is now available in the Cash Shop
• Lacquers +5 and +6 General have joined the Spring Cash Shop Sale
• Level 92 Elite Recipes released.

For those of you that didn't noticed, there's a special sale on some premium items from the cash shop. There's also a way to get Gold with paypal.

We have a new links table and a few more maps. By the end of this month we'll try to have all of the raid info in a separate page (it's taking me a little more time because I have to translate the info from japanese to spanish and then to english =P ~Loth)

A little note; the last update fixed the errors with the premium costumes so you can buy them and wear them on your favorite upcs now with no problems.

Today we are making the Manifest Destiny expansion available for pre-download. We highly recommend that users pre-download it from our download partner Pando. We are encouraging all users to pre-download this new client BEFORE we go live with the expansion next week.

IMPORTANT NOTE: When pre-downloading the new client please be sure to save it to your Sword of the New World folder. This is commonly found here C:\Program Files\Sword of The New World. This is VERY important. If the new client is not run from here it may corrupt the current installation.



Having the expansion already on your computer and ready to install will GREATLY reduce the amount of time waiting to connect to the game .
