Leveling Guide
Where to level, where to level...
"Where Do I Level a Lv.-- Team?" is the most common of questions asked by new - and even experienced - players. Lv.100+ maps have become harder to afk (and level actively as well) due to an increase in their difficulty; therefor making it easier to get killed without the proper care and attention that AFKing obviously can't provide. So this will be a guide to help with your needs!
It all depends on how and who you're leveling. If you're leveling a team of Lv.1's, then the process is quite simple: just play and progress through the storyline pretty much. If you're Plvling (powerleveling) low level characters with, say, Angie or Grace Bernelli, then you'd go to a high spawn area such as Rion Dungeon, Hollow or Prison de Joaquin, Gehenna Bridge.
But the hard part, and true grind of leveling comes in the second you promote yourself to Veteran (see Promotion). Your EXP bar will change the simple 1~100% bar into a 5 number 00.000% style. You'll get a lot less exp as well, (in comparison to pre-vet,) which is where this guide comes into play. Everyone has their own leveling methods, but since I'm making the guide, I'll list my own ethics and hope that you can follow them. For pre-vet, I'll only list areas for Lv.60 and above; leveling from Lv.1 is quite easy, and you pretty much don't need a guide to tell you how to go about it. Lv.60 and beyond is where leveling can be the most awkward of leveling, so that's why I'll only start there. And if you can get into these maps at a lower level than recommended, and actually survive, that's great! This guide is to simply show you your options of the best places to level. Also, if you get to the next level range of the maps I've listed, but still see you're getting nice exp from the previous zones, it's up to you to decide which you like best.
Notes
- Area names with a green (R) beside them means that they are recommended. Though I'll list additional areas for the certain level ranges, these areas come recommended by me. If they don't work for you, that's when you should try the additional areas.
- (AFK), (Solo), (KD),(HS),(Fly), and (Pay) tags below the map name mean:
- (AFK) - You should be able to AFK in the tagged maps with no problem
- (Solo) - You should be able to survive with only one character in your team (but should approach this method with caution, as certain characters can't solo)
- (KD) - Mobs use skills that will knock your player back - if knocked back enough, your character will simply stop attacking
- (HS) - The maps contain High Spawns, High HP mobs, and/or can easily overrun your team - could conflict with AFKing if not geared properly
- (Fly) - The map contains (a) mob(s) that are flying (melee can't hit flying mobs)
- (Pay) - This map is only accessible through the use of a Cash Shop Pass - also purchased through other players that have bought it from the Cash Shop
- A question mark ( ? ) beside the tag means that I need to confirm if it still applies.
- I don't have a wide range of places, but the ones listed seem to be the most effective to me.

I've created account just for this so I hope it'll helps :)
RionH- Very hard to afk with a low level team, even with grace isn't easy, I think this is the best map to level 70-80, so I would add it and even with an R. LavaPlat- VERY good place, in one line with Rion Hollow. It's easily soloable , weak monsters, high spawn (at middle very high),and a memo for cards. If I were you I would take off the R from Zona Uno (such horrible spawn, I wouldn't go there if you pay me) and give a warm big R to Lava. Topolo- I soloed Ania with e84's (+4 30-40 atk 20-30 aspd blunts and +6 3DR) from lvl 84 - Vet lvl 5 (at lvl 5 it's getting slow) at topolo, if you check it out topolo is *SO* easy and the xp is SO huge I would add it to lvl 80-vet 6 with R on all of them, one thing, the slightly low spawn and easy monsters make it perfect to solo. Caves- Caves are recommended for all experts, they are probably the biggest exp map in game after Caeb. My friend did there 1.5 expert levels a day with 2 characters(3 expert levels a day!![no event or such]) so I can't see why it's not recommended below expert 7,they are yellow either way and the exp is the best around. Just one note, it's very hard to survive, monsters has tons of hp and hit very hard, on top of that spiders got high dmg skill with KB and poison, so make sure you don't go unless you are really well geared (e92 armors) One final note, thought it might help, Yellow name= 150% exp, Orange=100%. Brown=100%, Red=50% White=0% . Thats what I read from a forum thread anyway, it was on 2.9a so it might have changed, it's pretty reliable though. Hope I helped, great guide, nice to see the site updating, needs it badly (especially on the raids section). |
