Name: Avalanche Apparition

Details:
1. Travel to Glacial Plains (Glacial Fortress: Forecourt)
2. Kill the Avalanche Apparition and loot the red jewel fragment (semi-rare).
*You can also get from strange minerals using mineral exchanger on Giagante Island*
3. Return to Ludeza for reward.

Here is a strategy for killing the Avalanche Apparition from the IAH Boards.
Name: The Power From An Unknown World
Location: Katovic Snowfield
NPC: Ludeza Vishihah
Reward: EXP Card (3), Polish Veteran (3)
Details:
1. Travel to Frozen Wastes.
2. Move to E-6.
3. Drag the red jewel fragment from inventory onto a Ryrin's Heart.
4. Return to Ludeza for reward.


*This quest will not appear in your quest log, you will need to be in channel 1.*
Name: Investigate the Ice Tower
Location: Katovic Snowfield
NPC: Ludeza Vishihah
Reward: None (need to complete in order to get next quest)
Details:
1. Travel to Glacial Plains (Glacial Fortress: Forecourt)
2. Run to K-5
3. Talk to the Ice Statue to open the gate to Ice Tower.
4. If the gate is already opened when you arrive you will need to wait for it to despawn (around 20mins).
5. Enter the Ice Tower. (You can return to quarters after entering).
6. Return to Ludeza.


6) Trace of Cruelty
NPC+Location: Ludeza Vishihah, Katovic Snowfields
Reward:
1. Ludeza will ask you to head to Frozen Plains to speak with Invierno. His location is marked on the map but his co-ordinates are D7.
2. Once at Invierno speak to him three times to open the next part of the quest. He'll ask you to make a soup and needs:

• 50 Wolf Meat
  
• 50 Beet
  
• 50 Cabbage
  
• 20 Golden Apples

Wolf Meats are dropped by Arctic Wolves, Beets dropped by Arctic Bears, Cabbages dropped by Arctic Lazim and Golden Apples are dropped by Eltetah. All of these are rare drops so be prepared to spend some time hunting them, or at least spending a lot of Vis buying them off other players. All monsters can be found on either the Katovic Snowfield or Frozen Plains maps.

(ii) Bring the materials to him, he will ask you to give him

Hub Bunch 0/1
Pocket of Seed 0/1
Piece of Letter 0/1

All 3 are around the destroyed camp in Snowfield of the Ice Wizard, E8-9. Hub Bunch is in the box, the other 2 will go inside your inventory once you go near them.
Note: The Piece of Letter is to the extreme right of the box. The Seed is here:



Very annoying to find, hope my SS helps you to estimate the distance from the box. And you HAVE to be on foot.

(iii)Once you get everything you need, go back to Invierno who will tell you to put the ingredients in the pot beside him. You will manufacture Katovic Soup. After that, talking to him will give you these options:

He will reply thus for the 3rd option:


(iv) Now you need to return to Ludeza in Katovic Snowfield. Do so, and you receive your reward.

Reward: (2 lvl 84 Enchantment chips)

(v) But we're not done yet. Go back to Invierno to ask him about the Ice Witch aka Novia again. And this is what he says:


(vi) After giving you Sweet Honeycomb, he tell you to get a bear's gall bladder. Go up to D/E5 and click the stone there. A bear will spawn, kill it for the bladder.



For those who can't handle it on your own, good news - you can do it by squadding, I've tested it and it works ^^. Now, back to Invierno. Talk to him, and select any option (I chose to ask about Ice Wizard Tower) and this is he will tell you:





Apparently he won't entertain any more questions after that, so go back to Ludeza and receive your reward.

And it seems we've come to the end of the quests until the next patch arrives.

Side Quest: Katovic Rescue Knight - Manufacturing!

First, talk to the Rescue Knight beside Ludeza. She will let you choose ONE from the Philosopher Stone's Set/Ice Crystal Set to make NORMAL lvl 100 EQUIPS. Talk to her again for her to give you permission to use her loom/shelf/anvil.
