Garcia Questline
NOTE: If you have finished this quest or have gotten further than I, can you please fill in the missing information.
Garcia's Questline continues on from the Bahamar questline. You must have completed it before Elenore will allow you to start as it follows on in the chain of events. You also need to have at least started the Katovic Snowfield questline but it is not necessary to complete it before starting this quest.
Quest: Joaquin Suppression
NPC+Location: Elenore, Auch
Reward: 3x Event Triumph Fillers, 10x Event Health Regen Potions, 10x Soul Regen Potions and 3x Polish: Veteran.
1. After completing the last Bahamar quest, "Ten Nobles of Vespanola" leave the Auch map and return. The quest "Joaquin Suppression" will automatically appear once you re-enter the map.
Talk to Elenore and she will give you the option to join the suppression force, you apparently cannot have Eduardo on your team when you talk to Elenore or you will not be able to trigger the quest.
2. Upon opting to join, you'll be warped to an instance. Destroy the two colonies in 20 minutes to complete it. You will be helped by Republican Soldiers, Reem and a colony buff of +100% HP and +50% Attack and hindered by L88 Failed Subjects. This is a very easy instance, especially at Vet. Just ignore the Failed Subjects and destroy the colonies. At the end you'll see Garcia and he'll do some talking.
3. Talk to Elenore afterward to receive your reward.
Quest: Simon Ayende's Call 3
NPC: Simone Ayende, Auch Republican Embassy
Reward: None
1. Simon asks you to find info on Garcia.
2. Go to Ferrucio Wall near the Katovic Snowfield entrance. Please note the monsters at Ferrucio Wall hurt a lot even with Veteran Pioneer armor, especially the Reapers. You'll see a ridge near a camp at F2-F3, walk near there until a message pops up (see image below, Selva is around the red circle, approach it from the south like the arrow shows).
3. Select the mission. You'll need to fight a L120 Snow Storm Apparition with Selva and Garcia helping. This is fairly easy.
4. When the Apparition is dead talk to Selva for dialogue and to end the instance and start the next part of the questline.
Quest: Ryrin's Heart
NPC+Location: Selva, carried on from previous quest.
Reward: 3x Polish: Veteran
1. You'll be asked to talk to Invierno who is at D7 of Frozen Plain. His location is marked on the area map and in the image below.
2. Selva and Garcia will join in the conversation and you'll be required to collect:
3. Hand these items over to Invierno.
Quest: Snowdown in the Snowfield
Reward: Sage Necklace (3 days) and 3x Polish: Veteran
1. Speak to Invierno and he will send you to the instance, "Showdown in the Snowfield".
2. Here you will battle Montoro (see stats below) with the help of Invierno, Garcia and Selva. If you have at least Veteran Pioneer equips then you should find it easy to beat him. Once you get Montoro down to a quarter health he will run and leave you with 7-8 Frozen Waste monsters to battle instead. Kill them. After they die the trio will talk to you and the instance will be complete.
3. Speak to Invierno afterward.
NOTE: The Sage Necklace which adds +3 AR and +3 DR has a 3 day timer on it. This timer will start as soon as you equip it. It's a good idea to save this until you're ready to do Novia as you'll be needing it. You'll find it in your Premiums inventory.
NPC+Location: Invierno, Frozen Wastes
Reward:
Enter the Ice Wizard Tower and take a few steps forward to trigger a pop-up message asking if you wish to move to the mission to battle Novia. Once you entered the Ice Wizard Tower, move forward a few steps and a window will trigger asking you if you want to advance to the mission. Selecting yes will warp you to the instanced mission.
Once you’re warped to the mission the battle will start against Novia. This will be no easy battle as you will not only face off Novia, but with her “summons” and Montoro. Selva and Garcia will aid you in the battle however they will die leaving Novia in your hands.
NOTE: It is extremely important you stand at the following spot as indicated if you even want an easier battle. As soon as you are warped to the instance click this point to move. It will give your family the Old Man buff of +5 AR/DR. You may be fighting a quest version of Novia but nevertheless she’s still a tough cookie.
You need to take down Novia's summons and bring down Novia’s HP to 40% to complete the quest. Montoro is an optional opponent but it's good to get all the distractions out of the way. There are any number of MCCs you can take to beat Novia. Given her stats you may find it easier with some good 84e +3 DR Armour or higher. Being an Expert will make it even easier still. As Novia is Human, make sure you equip any human weapons you may have. All the monsters here aside from Montoro are weak to Lightning so bringing an Elementalist or Vincent would be useful. One very easy way to kill Novia though is with the use of Invisible pots. Spam these on all your characters to keep them Invisible at all times. The Defenders and Novia will not be able to see you and it will be a cakewalk. Montoro possibly still will be able to see you but he'll be easy to take out when its just you versus him. Just make sure you bring characters that have a high DPS rate in normal attacks such as Outrage stance users and Martial Artists.
So mercilessly hack away at Novia. When her HP reaches 40% Montoro, Invierno, Selva and Garcia will appear. Attack Novia and Montoro some more and after speak to Invierno. It seems Garcia has been turned undead and you need to save him. Head back to Invierno again in Frozen Wastes and talk to him again.
Quest: Seal of Novia
NPC+Location: Invierno, Frozen Wastes
Reward: Polish:Veteran
Speak with Invierno and he will tell you that you need 1 Snowfield Soup and 10 Philosopher's Stones to create a remedy to save Garcia.
A single soup requires:
Note: If you have not done the Trace of Cruelty quest in the Katovic Snowfield questline, you will not be able to proceed to this part. This quest gives you access to the bowl needed to make the soups.
After saving Garcia head back to Simon. Depending on what you initially chose when Simon offered you two choices, Garcia will either join you immediately or he will enter into a battle against you. But either way, you will get Garcia’s card.
Scenario 1
If you chose Simon’s second option, which is to report to him after you have found/caught Garcia, you can get Garcia’s card as your reward by talking to him back at Auch.
Scenario 2
If you chose Simon’s first option, which is to hand him over to the Office of Pioneering Support , you will be engaged into a battle with him.
Garcia’s stats
After you win/lose, Garcia will run off and you will need to find him. If you want to know his location, speak with Tiburon (ugh) and he will only tell you Garcia’s location if you pay him 1,000,000 Vis.
To those who have done Lorch’s quest before, you should know better than to choose the 200,000 Vis offer.
After you found his location, return to converse with Simon Ayende to receive Garcia’s card AND a lvl 100 enchantment chip.

Im in the second part of the quest, the message appered and a saw a conversation, selected the mission and then nothing, and cant get the message again
