Stances are skill sets which include up to 5 skills. There are many stances for all of the characters (Stock / UPC); some of them are broadly available to most characters in the specific class, some of them are unique to one character, and others are modified versions of other stances! This is a table that lists all of the stances, and also provides information at the bottom of the table.
Notes:
- Names highlighted in green means that they are modified stances that were made to fit certain characters. For example, Standing Shot and Targan Shot are basically one and the same. However, Targan Shot replaces Standing Shot's skill "Blinding Shot" with "Bayonet Assault".
- Names highlighted in light blue are stances that only one particular UPC can use. For instance, Valleria is the only character that can use Innocentio. And Selva Norte is the only character that can use Cauchemar or Rapida Espada
- Martial Artist stances are only used by the 5 Martial Artists: Baek Ho, Soso, Irawain, Gracielo, and Detective Gertrude. (excluding Soho The Fighter)
- Information regarding stances are located at the bottom of the stance table.
Maxing a Stance fully to Level 25 gives 79 total points to distribute amongst your skills for that stance.
You will be able to max all skills in stances with 3~4 skills.
You will not be able to max all skills in stances with 5 skills, so be careful in choosing which skill you want to leave unmaxed.
Stance Level 1 gets 0 points per level
Stance Levels 2-4 get 1 point per level.
Stance Levels 5-9 get 2 points per level.
Stance Levels 10-14 get 3 points per level.
Stance Levels 15-19 get 4 points per level.
Stance Levels 20-24 get 5 points per level.
Stance Level 25 gets 6 points per level.
Reset Skillpoints option: New Cash Shop Item Exercise Book for Skills - will reset the skill points for all skills in all stances for the selected leader character. - Veteran Stance Acquirement
You can learn Veteran stances upon promoting yourself to Veteran. An Awakening is not acquired to learn the stances, only the promotion (using Shiny Crystals). All Veteran stances can be purchased from Master Guardian NPC (Located in City of Auch)for 1,000,000 vis each
- Expert Stance Acquirement
Expert Stances, like Veteran stances, are only learn-able when you've promoted yourself to Expert. However, you cannot just "buy" Expert stance manuals; instead - you are tasked with having to complete a rather difficult quest/questline in order to gain the ability to acquire these stances. The Errac Questline is the series of quests that must be completed. Once you complete these quests, Emilia (in Port of Coimbra) will then allow you to trade 3 Great Stones + a Constellation Symbol (depending on what stance it is) for the stance manual. See This List for more in-depth details on Expert Stances. Do note, that some Expert Stances are acquired in different ways. Hapkido is gained by completing This Questline and giving Gertrude the Great Stones+Symbol. Innocentio is gained as a random drop from the Roulette chest from the Joaquin Prison Raid. Vincent Rio's Serenade is gained by completing This Questline. While Gorgeous and Waxing are obtained from the Feso Shop for 850,000 Feso. But the rest are all from Emilia. Hapkido, Prelude, and Sect of Moonlight are now available in the Feso shop for 1,500,000 Feso, 1,000,000 feso, and 1,000,0000 feso respectively.
