Calypso is a Royalist spy seeking information on the mercenary Gerard Lauren and also Princess Gabriela's armed escort. She is a cash shop UPC that was added in 2.6. Just like Vincent and lutes, crossbows start at LV60. Calypso will use daggers until then.

How to Get:

Details:
1. Talk to Calypso
2. Talk to the Mercenary Soldier to be transported to an instance.
3. Defeat the pirates
3. Talk to the Mercenary Soldier again and give him 50 Mystery Powders, or 150 Shiny Crystals
4. Travel to Reboldeaux, Royalist Embassy (E-3)
5. Talk to Princess Gabriela.
6. Return to Calypso for reward.

Calypso's Sagitta Book Quest: Quest is now bug free

Details:
1. Travel to City of Auch with Calypso as leader.
2. Talk to Gertrude.
3. Talk to Gertrude again to be transported to an instance.
4. Talk to Gertrude a third time.
3. Travel to Port of Coimbra, The Pegadilla
4. Talk to Gerard.
5. Make another character leader
6. Talk to NPC Calypso for reward.

Name: Beginning of the Truth
Location: Port of Coimbra, The Pegadilla
NPC: Given after leaving the Pegadilla and changing channels
Reward: Sagitta Stance Book
Details:
1. Talk to Gerard with Calypso as leader.
2. Talk to Mercenary Lieutenant next to NPC Calypso. (The Otite perfume he will give you will be in Misc section of your Premium inventory.)
3. Travel to Porto Bello, Deserted Quay.
4. Move to F-2, just northeast of the Treasure Chest.
4. After dialogue, go to Mamons E-3.
5. Activate the Ottite perfume you were given and talk to him to be transported to an instance.
6. Defeat Mamons.
7. Talk to Mamons to get letter from him.
8. Travel to Port of Coimbra and go inside the Sea Elephant Cafe to talk to Gerard and Gertrude. F-9
9. Remove Calypso from the team.
10. Travel to City of Auch and speak to Gertrude.
11. Add Calypso back to team and return to Mamons in Porto Bello, Deserted Quay.
12. Speak to Mamons to be transported to an instance.
13. Move to green arrow. Calypso will be only one active. Calypso must take damage so don't attack.
14. When arrow 2 appears move to it with other team members.
15. Wait for Fritz to appear, speak to him and he will give you the Sagitta stance book.

Quest Tips

1. First and foremost, you can do this with a Calypso acquired via Merc BUT you must get Calypso's card via quest to trigger the Truth quest. So unless you want 2 Caly's, just do the quest from square 1 or buy the book for 100k Feso.
2. So to recap, you can do the quest with a merc'd Caly -> it's better just to buy the book if you are going this route. Otherwise you'll spend the 50MP on a Calypso card, and if you want to sell her you'll have to level her to 50.
3. Tips for pirate fight:

• This part of quest is based off the level of the team attempting it.
• Let the mercenaries do most of the work. This part is mainly about you surviving it.
• Hide in a corner while using potions or a scout to heal or use a levitation wizard so you cannot be hit.
