Calypso is a Royalist spy seeking information on the mercenary Gerard Lauren and also Princess Gabriela's armed escort. She is a cash shop UPC that was added in 2.6. Just like Vincent and lutes, crossbows start at LV60. Calypso will use daggers until then.

How to Get:
Name: Young Soldier
Location: Port of Coimbra, The Pegadilla
NPC: Calypso (The Pegadilla, E-7)
Reward: Calypso Character Card
Details:
1. Talk to Calypso
2. Talk to the Mercenary Soldier to be transported to an instance.
3. Defeat the pirates
3. Talk to the Mercenary Soldier again and give him 50 Mystery Powders, Cash Shop item.
4. Travel to City of Reboldeaux, Royalist Embassy (E-3)
5. Talk to Princess Gabriela.
6. Return to Calypso for reward.

Calypso's Sagitta Quest:
Name: Fateful Meeting
Location: Pegadilla
NPC: Calypso
Reward: Crossbow, EXP Card (3)
Details:
1. Travel to City of Auch with Calypso as leader.
2. Talk to Gertrude.
3. Talk to Gertrude again to be transported to an instance.
4. Talk to Gertrude a third time.
3. Travel to Port of Coimbra and enter The Pegadilla
4. Talk to Gerard.
5. Make another character leader
6. Talk to NPC Calypso for reward.

*When I tried step 1 in next quest it did not activate, after changing channels it did, however.*
Calypso's Veteran Stance Quest: (by Moonstar.)
  1. Exit Pegadilla, Beginning of the Truth 1 begins!
  2. Talk to Gerard with Calypso as leader
  3. Talk to the mercenary beside Calyspo (warning this part WILL crash your game but the quest line will continue~you do not get the Otite Perfume as intended, so hope you have one)
  4. Go to Deserted Quay F2 directly above the Treasure Chest's location on your mini map
  5. Go talk to Mamons
  6. Start an Otite Perfume (or turn on Baron) then talk to Mamons again -> select Start Mission
  7. Talk to Mamons yet again (like Truth 2 once you recieve the letter it will crash your game)
  8. Go find Gerard and Gertrude at the Cafe
  9. Go talk with Gertrude without Calypso in the group
  10. Get Calypso and return to Mamons, let Caly get hit, talk to Fritz, get the book.

Quest Tips
  1. First and foremost, you can do this with a Calypso acquired via Merc BUT you must get Calypso's card via quest to trigger the Truth quest. So unless you want 2 Caly's, just do the quest from square 1 or buy the book for 100k Feso.
  2. So to recap, you can do the quest with a merc'd Caly -> it's better just to buy the book if you are going this route. Otherwise you'll spend the 50MP on a Calypso card, and if you want to sell her you'll have to level her to 50.

Any recommended level to attempt fighting them?
I've been trying the quest multiple times and constantly failing because they're way stronger than i expected.

P.S. im at level 43 now.

Okay, since there ISN"T a guide to this yet I'll put a make shift one together.

First and foremost, you can do this with a Calypso acquired via Merc BUT you must get Calypso's card via quest to trigger the Truth quest. So unless you want 2 Caly's, just do the quest from square 1 or buy the book for 100k Feso.

After finishing the primary quest (above) you get a prompt from Calypso to : Quit, Do not investigate together, Investigate together.
Select "Investigate Together" and the Truth Questline will become active.
1) Go to Gertrude
2) Talk to Gertrude again -> select Eavesdrop "
3) Talk to Gertrude yet again
4) Go speak with Gerard in Pegadilla
5) Talk to Calypso with someone other than Calypso (you can have her in the party)
6) Exit Pegadilla, Beginning of the Truth 1 begins!
7) Talk to Gerard with Calypso as leader
