Prerequisites:
First, to start the Caebolan quests, you must enter Caebolan itself. To get there, enter the Bahamar Caves and switch to channel 1. Then move to around D7-D8 in the caves and you should see an exit/portal for Caebolan. Enter it and you will be in a small map with no monsters. You cannot save a warp in here either. Simply head for the exit to Caebolan. You can save warp points once inside Caebolan, but not within Interna de Gigante.

Optional Quest 1: Strange Living Organism
NPC: Researcher
Location: Caebolan
Reward: Vet Exp Card, Vet Polish x 3
1. Talk to the Researcher NPC. He will ask you to kill some Red Elementals, Stone Graverobbers, and Stone Honeycombs.
2. Note that you do not need to do this quest to finish the Caebolan quest line.
2. Return to him for your reward.

Optional Quest 2: Food Research (repeatable)
NPC: Researcher
Location: Caebolan
Reward: Arco Amber (forte)
1. Talk to the Researcher NPC. He wants 20 golden egg fruits and 20 golden egg branches.
2. Farm the golden egg fruits in Estevan's farm.
3. Farm the golden egg branches in the field outside skeleton dungeon in Ustiur: Zona Tres.
4. Return to the Researcher to collect your reward.

Quest 1: Dark Clouds
NPC: none
Location: Caebolan D8
Reward: Vet Exp Card, Vet Polish x 3

1. This is the start of the Caebolan questline. Travel to D8 in Caebolan. You will get a quest message automatically and you will have a Stone Leaf in your quest inventory.

2. Go to Lenora in Bahamar, Deep Swamp and talk to her.

3. Go to Igorne in New Opoluto and talk to him. Igorne will explain that Caebolan used to be a lush paradise. However, an explosion linked to Montoro and Cortes caused it to turn into the wasteland that it is now.

4. Go to Lenora again. You will receive a new quest.









Quest 2: Investigation
NPC: Igorne
Location: Caebolan D8
Reward: Vet Exp Card, Vet Polish x 3

1. You now need to collect 1 stone leaf, 1 stone flower, and 1 stone sword.

2. Get the stone leaf from D8 (same as in Dark Clouds).

3. Get the stone flower from C4, next to a tree near the entrance. Upon acquiring the leaf, Selva Norte will spawn. You'll have to fight her.

4. Get the stone sword, found between D7 and E7.

5. Return to Igorne.






Quest 3: Unpredicted Fate
NPC: Igorne
Location: Caebolan

1. You will now be tasked to defeat Sharon.

2. Head to Caebolan, Interna de Gigante.

3. Once inside, head to H2/3 of the map to trigger a mission. The location is indicated by the red dot in the map below.

4. There will be nothing to do within the instance. Just sit back and watch Igorne and the Rescue Knights fight Sharon. Eduardo will also show up to aid them.

5. Once the instance is finished, you'll now need to proceed deeper into Gigante.

6. There will be a warp gate at F4. However, in order to trigger the crystal, you will need 10 Amethyst Fragments. You'll need more of these later too, for a total of 20. These drops from monsters within the area, such as the Elicium and Vespenola Soldier. These are pick up drops so you will need to manually take them as they fall to the ground. As such, it is recommended to farm them at yellow.

7. Once through the warp, venture to D7-8/E7-8 to trigger another mission once through the small corridor indicated by the coordinates. The location is indicated by the blue dot in the map below. The mission will again pit Igorne and the Rescue Knights against Sharon. Eduardo and Selva will also show up though Eduardo will fail to recognize her former lover, much to Selva's sadness. You will be against a horde Elicium and Vespenola Soldiers, not too big of a problem really.

8. Once finished, you'll re-spawn roughly where the mission triggered at D7-8/E7-8. You can choose to explore around a bit, or continue with the quest line. Should you choose to proceed with the quests, head back to H2/3, or where the first mission or instance triggered, indicated by the red dot in the map below. These means that you'll have to exit from the current area, hence the requirement for another 10 Amethyst Fragments mentioned in step 6.

9. The instance, titled Truth or Lie, is a conversation between Igorne and Selva. Igorne pleads with Selva to aid him.

10. After Truth or Lie, you'll need to locate Cortes further within Gigante. Head to H10 or the green dot in the map below. You'll face off against Sharon again, this time in an instance titled A Sense of Fate. Montoro will also show up to betray Cortes.

11. A Sense of Fate pretty much completes what you need within Interna de Gigante. The next step simply involves returning to Igorne at Bahamar, New Opoluto in order to receive your reward. This will officially end the Caebolan quest line, allowing you to recruit Selva. Alternatively, you are also free to explore Interna de Gigante. Provided you have another 10 Amethyst Fragments, you can proceed even deeper into the dungeon.


Side Notes:

• Interestingly enough, all the NPCs involved in the missions and dialogues are at least Masters. The Rescue Knights are lvl120, Eduardo 140. Man, these guys don't even need your help.
• If you have trouble with the monsters inside, try using an AM's Boost or the like.
  
• Montoro's dialogue picture in this quest chain is different from the one you'll see in the Katovic quests, as well as the Barrow de la Muerte raid.
